Complete Dentures

A smile is such a significant part of who we are and how we present ourselves. A great smile vastly improves self-confidence and self esteem, while missing teeth or dentures may have the opposite effect. Today, 35 million North Americans wear full or partial dentures. It is estimated that the number of people over the age of 50 will double in the next 20 years as the 75 million baby-boomers enter this age category. The baby-boomers place an increasing priority on a healthy and attractive smile, and that the value of one's appearance has greater importance. Advances in restorative and esthetic prosthodontics have the potential to reverse the signs of dental aging, answering patients’ desire to look younger.

BPS™ is a coordinated, precision denture system that provides a consistently quality result. Fortunately for the denture wearer, BPS™ brand dentures can fulfill the patients’ expectations of better fit, function, and superior esthetics.

A BPS denture will help to eliminate those unexpected problems that can affect the overall quality of life. BPS brand dentures require less time at the dentist's office, prevent sore spots caused by ill-fitting dentures and ensure the most natural and esthetic smile available today.

Implant Overdentures

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a small titanium fixture that serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. The implant is placed in the upper or lower jaw and will integrate with the bone over time and thus serve as an anchor for the replacement tooth. Under normal conditions, the healing process can take as little as 6 weeks. After this time, a crown, bridge, or denture is secured to the implant. Dental implants can be used to replace a single lost tooth or many missing teeth.

Partial Dentures

Throughout the course of life, natural teeth are lost for many reasons, including gum disease, tooth decay, and accidents. Having missing teeth can pose severe consequences including:

  • Loss of chewing efficiency
  • Uneven wear on remaining teeth
  • Tipping, migration, and over eruption of teeth adjacent to the empty space
  • Loss of bone structure in the jaw
  • Speech difficulty
  • Temporomandibular Joint disorder (TMJ)
  • Loss of facial muscle tone
  • Poor esthetic appearance

A preferred method of treatment for these types of situations is to replace missing natural teeth by means of a removable partial denture. A partial denture is a prosthesis which restores one or more, but not all of the natural teeth. There are an infinite number of different combinations of missing teeth and the traditional method of satisfying these combinations was by means of a metal partial denture. Due to the high esthetic demands of the patient, there have been advancements in removable prosthodontics. Metal partial dentures with unsightly metal clasps are not the only partial denture treatment option available. We now can offer a wide variety of partial denture treatment such as:

  • Metal Partial Dentures
  • Partial Dentures with Tooth Colored Clasps
  • Flexible Partial Dentures
  • Clasp-less Partial Dentures

Immediate Dentures

Are you having your natural teeth extracted due to : Extensive tooth decay? Advanced gum disease? For cosmetic reasons? If you want to avoid the situation of being without teeth after extractions, we can implement the immediate denture technique. This involves taking impressions of your mouth while your natural teeth are still present. In our on-site dental lab, we fabricate a denture in the likeness of your natural teeth, or make any necessary modifications you may wish. When your natural teeth are extracted, your immediate denture is then inserted. The cosmetic result will save you the embarrassment of being without teeth during the healing process. At B G Denture Clinic, we will work directly with you and your dentist to ensure that your treatment is of the highest standard in modern denture care.

Same Day Relines/Rebases/Repairs

Dentures are designed to closely match the shape of your gums, which means that most new dentures will have good retention in your mouth. As you age, your gums are prone to changing shape as bone shrinkage occurs. The more you wear the denture, the looser it tends to become.

Is your denture loose but not ready to be replaced? B G Denture Clinic offers an Easy and Affordable solution. Same Day Relines Increase Stability * Improve Chewing Ability * Enhance Comfort * Enjoy Self Confidence. Have your denture relined while relaxing in our Private Patient Waiting Room!

When your denture breaks or a tooth falls out, it’s an emergency! B G Denture Clinic understands that getting it fixed fast is the only thing that really matters to you at that moment. Our staff will assure that your denture repair will be completed in about an hour.

Soft Liners

Patients who constantly suffer with discomfort from their dentures may benefit from a soft liner. These individuals may have a low threshold for pain, and/or the gum tissue that overlays jaw bone is usually thinner than normal and does not resist pressure well. When such tissue is compressed between hard jaw bone and hard denture plastic, pain is easily elicited. Replacing one of these hard interfaces with a soft denture liner helps eliminate or reduce this painful tissue compression.
